Agapée (agápē in Ancient Greek) creates handcrafted, hammered gold-plated jewelry inspired by the Mediterranean. Designed in their Paris atelier since 2019, each piece tells a story to reflect the area’s rich cultural heritage and timeless beauty.
Using the age-old method of lost-wax casting, the artisans create a “wax tree,” where each piece is made in wax, encased in plaster, and then melted out and replaced by liquid brass to form the final shape, then plated with 24k recycled gold. They embrace sustainable artistry by using recycled, ethically sourced materials, with 70% of the gold and 90% of their brass coming from recycled sources.
